Ready. Set. Grow: Applications for High School Entrepreneurial Scholarships

Don’t miss your chance to become a change maker – Apply for the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation Entrepreneurial Scholarship programme before 30 September 2022. 

The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation is calling on all current Grade 6 learners from across the country to apply for its prestigious Scholarship programme dedicated to developing the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The High School Entrepreneurial Scholarship is designed to support and develop learners who excel academically, who want to make a meaningful difference in the world and who demonstrate financial need. The Foundation’s partner schools across South Africa offer quality education and if the applicant is accepted, Scholars will be placed at one of these partner schools which provides access to a good education, extra mural activities, and boarding facilities where needed.

Application Criteria:

  • Applicant must be in Grade 6 this year (2022) to apply.
  • Applicant must not be older than 12 years of age and not younger than 11 years of age in Grade 6 (2022).
  • Applicant must obtain a minimum of 70 % for English and Mathematics in Grade 5 and 6.
  • Applicant must obtain a minimum overall average of 70% average for all subjects in Grade 5 and 6.
  • Applicant must be a South African citizen.
