The Teachers Training Tutorial – Module 10: Managing Inclusivity.

The Teachers Training Tutorial Package is made up of 10 modules.

This workshop is Managing Inclusivity.

Although this module works hand in hand with Diversity Management, it is specific to South Africa.

The Aim of this workshop is:

To ensure that you are familiar and comfortable with the processes, guidelines, and templates to be implemented and utilised when addressing and planning for the support to be provided for learners experiencing barriers to learning.

Once you have worked through this workshop you will:

• Be familiar with the processes, procedures, guidelines and templates to be utilised in accordance with the official requirements to be found in the “Policy on Screening, Identification, Assessment and Support” (2014).
• Understand the levels of support that can be given to learners experiencing barriers to learning.
• Understand the school arrangements in relation to the Policy.
• Understand the roles and functions related to the key role players involved in the screening, identification, assessment and support of learners experiencing barriers to learning.
• Be aware of and know where to locate the official templates to be utilised when documenting and recording the procedures to be followed and the programme of support to be provided to learners experiencing barriers to learning.

The Programme works on the T.Y.T.T.O concept, Teach Yourself To Teach Others.

The Programme also provides you with all the materials necessary for you to take the skills and knowledge that you have gained and train others.
