The purpose of this course is to explore autism and giftedness. It is suitable for both teachers in mainstream classroom teaching and those in SET.
The characteristics of autism will be discussed in depth. Following this, planning and provision for supporting autistic children in the classroom will be explored. Finally, we will look at supporting the gifted learner.
