Mastering Assessment in the FP

Assessment is one of the biggest parts of our jobs as teachers. It’s what helps us know if our learners understand the concepts and skills that we are teaching. But how do we know our assessment results are accurate? How do we know that they are a true reflection of our learners’ knowledge and skills?

Mastering Assessment in the FP looks at the four pillars of great assessment: purpose, validity, reliability and value. We will use these to evaluate our assessments and see how we can improve them.
