Description
The main aim of this course is to support children with literacy difficulties.
Challenges children with literacy difficulties have will be examined. In particular, there will be a focus on vocabulary, spelling, fluency, comprehension, sight vocabulary, language, phonics and phonological awareness.
Following this, specific assessments and effective tailored interventions will be outlined so you can confidently respond to a child’s needs. After this course, you will be confident using a wide range of assessment tools and implementing interventions to support children with their literacy difficulties.
